At the earth's surface,

In the lower levels

Of it's life enveloping atmosphere,

I am walking on lives and deaths,

And the buried feet of trees.

Recognition is there as we exchange gasses,

And eventually we will exchange places,

The worms helping the transformation,

And then at last

I'll be a 'shade taller' !
